GROTESQUE SHOW, 2018 / Modern Circus Series
Collaborative work with painter Bruno Knop
Still in the spotlight, he carries mime at the service of derision and conceals in his comic discourse a saving morality. In this realization, the clown takes the form of a hand face to serve us a critique of the derives of current narcissism. Each piece has been drawn according to the most common forms of the human face and thus tries to open a reflection on the current definition of “clown”. This work is part of the integrated series Modern Circus, a set of fun objects that offer a satire of the present society by repeating the attributes proper to the circus world.
